Headquartered in Gibraltar and with offices around the world, the
Victor Chandler business offers international online and telephone
sports betting opportunities and web-based gaming in several languages.
Widely regarded as the world's leading independent bookmaking and
gaming group of companies, Victor Chandler enjoys over 150,000 customers
worldwide and in 2001 could boast a monthly turnover in excess of
£50 million.

NEEDS
Like many sportsbooks, Victor Chandler was hampered in its efforts
to advertise betting opportunities around specific sporting events
by the length of time taken by external agencies to deliver a new
creative, and by the length of time taken by publishers to deploy
that new creative once it was ready. Victor Chandler needed to change
creative on a publisher site almost instantly, and wished to intensify
the timeliness of the message by accompanying it with the latest
odds for the event being promoted.
SOLUTION
Connextra worked closely with Victor Chandler to build an interface
that enabled its marketing team to change the event being promoted
within minutes and to have the odds for selected markets displayed
in the advert and automatically updated. This interface also enabled
the marketing team to control font settings and choice of visual
assets, thereby lessening dependence on production teams as well
as on publishers. Running initially on Oddschecker.com, the adverts
were extended after a successful trial onto ESPNstar.com, on which
site Victor Chandler can promote any market in any sport including,
crucially, whole and split-ball Asian Handicaps.
