First Rate Travel's online currency service launches
with contextual Flash ads

First Rate Travel, a foreign currency website backed by The Bank
of Ireland, has just launched their new website selling foreign
currency using Connextras context-matching technology in their
ads.
The technology ensures that todays exchange rates for
any of 33 currencies are shown in the ads, automatically selecting
the right currency to match the destination on the page the
ad appears.
The creative execution uses Flash technology, in two different
creative treatments, with up-to-date, contextually-matched
content in each.
Using Connextras technology not only saves the client
time, but also reduces the cost of building new creatives
and removes the need to upload new ads to ad servers and publisher
sites.
The example above shows how Connextras patent-pending
context-matching technology ensures the right currency is
shown in each ad: as this page mentions Ireland, the ad automatically
shows the exchange rate for the Euro.
