Expedia uses live context matching for flight and
hotel deals
Expedia has launched a campaign to promote its hotels and
flights using Connextra's context matching technology, which automatically
shows offers that match the editorial appearing next to the
ads. Connextra's unique editorial analysis technology spots
destinations in the editorial and automatically changes
the content of the ad to show flights or hotels for the same
place.
Furthermore, as the information in the ads is read straight
from a feed into all the ad spaces, the prices and details
are automatically up to date, ensuring that the best offers
appear as soon as they are created.
