The Guardian and BT select Connextra as one
of the top 100 most visionary companies

Connextra, the online marketing software company that enables
clients and agencies to run live data in its ads, has been selected
by BT and The Guardian as one of the 100 most visionary companies
in the UK.
This nomination reflects Connextra's innovative technology and
also its management approach to the creation of new solutions to
online marketing problems. Many major brand names have now benefited
from Connextra's vision, namely that automation can significantly
increase the responses from online marketing, by enabling clients
to run live and contextually relevant messages in any online ad
space.
Connextra was one of eight organisations from the software sector
to be acclaimed as visionary by the BT Vision 100 research and awards
programme for 2002. They featured in an index that also includes
the Eden Project, the John Lewis Partnership and easyJet. The index
was published in The Guardian on March 18.
The scheme, originated by BT, identifies 100 innovative UK organisations
that have achieved strategic goals through visionary activities
over the last 12 months - regardless of size, age or sector.
Hugh Merrill, director of Strategic Partnerships at BT Retail and
an advisory panel member, said: "These visionary organisations
have shown clarity of purpose, imagination and the capacity to break
boundaries. They have taken original concepts, converted their ideas
into reality and now connect with employees, suppliers, partners
and customers in creative new ways."
David King Lassman, CEO of Connextra, said: "We are very proud
to have been included in the BT Vision 100 Index, especially among
such esteemed company. It is an indication of the great progress
we have made at Connextra, especially in our efforts to breathe
new life into the online advertising market, where our suite of
products are receiving such widespread acclaim."
